Boundary-Stretching European Wine:
From Far West to Far East!

From the windswept Atlantic coast of Spain to beyond the Black Sea in Georgia, we're exploring the far edges of the European winemaking zone.

If you hit the road in Arousa, Galicia, Spain and drove until you hit Telavi in the eastern part of Georgia, you'd pass through nearly a dozen countries and a staggering amount of European winemaking areas! (At the time of writing, the drive took an estimated 62 hours nonstop - view the route on Google maps HERE!) We're saving the time and fuel and tasting our way from end to end instead, from Spanish albariño to Georgian skin-fermented rkatsiteli-mtsvane, and including a tasty Hungarian red from the central point of our journey as well. And if road-tripping (extreme or otherwise) isn't on your agenda for this long weekend, these wines are all picnic, patio, and BBQ friendly too!
