Create an accountBryan Nolt, owner of Breckenridge Distillery, was taking classes at the American Distilling Institute when he met master distiller and instructor Jordan Via. They collaborated together to make Breckenridge’s line of spirits, applying a purist, traditional approach to small-batch distillation. Jordan uses a custom copper pot still and premium ingredients, but he attributes the unique taste profile to the Rocky Mountain glacial water. The distillery sits at 9,600 feet above sea level, giving it the distinction of being the highest distillery in the world! Breckenridge bourbon has notes of under-ripe banana and warm brown sugar on the nose with hints of white pepper and toasted sesame. It’s warm on the palate with a silky texture and a long, vanilla oak finish with a touch of bitterness to balance.
