Cantina Giardino, located in the hilly Irpinia region of Campania, Italy, produces wines using traditional winemaking methods, focusing on the region’s indigenous grape varieties. Many of the estate’s 20 hectares are planted with old vines, some of which are up to 100 years old. This wine is sourced from a 90-year-old vineyard situated 500 meters above sea level. After a four-day maceration, the wine is aged for a year in chestnut and mulberry casks, showcasing white floral notes, chalky minerality, and fine tannins that result in a pleasant saline finish. Organically grown, low-intervention/natural wine.
