The Faccenda family has owned Guidobono for twenty years, coaxing delicious and approachable wines from the beautiful hillside vineyards of Piedmont. Their Langhe nebbiolo represents somewhat of an oenological unicorn: classic Piedmontese nebbiolo, with the tannic structure and aromatics that go with it, at a price that screams “Tuesday night!” Macerated for five days in stainless steel, it aged for eight months in large oak casks. More medium-bodied than full, it exudes bright pomegranate as well as cherry fruit, with a touch of cedar spice. Sustainably grown.
