Located in the Entre-Deux-Mers region of Bordeaux, Château Jarr was one of the first organic estates in France, beginning in 1964. Motivated by a serious health scare, proprietor Paul Baron ceased using conventional treatments on all agricultural products, including grapevines. He eventually became a founding member of the Nature et Progrès association, which promotes organic and biodynamic practices. This blend of Sémillon, Sauvignon Blanc, and Sauvignon Gris ferments in stainless steel, retaining its freshness and bright acidity. Citrus and minerality are complemented by slight floral and spice notes, resulting in a gentle, pleasing texture. Certified organic.
