Cuca Fresca cachaça is imported by Spirits Lab Distilling Company, located just across the river from us in Newburgh, NY. In addition to producing their own spirits with locally sourced ingredients, Spirits Lab also collaborates with fellow producers worldwide to import international spirits to the US. First in that lineup is this cachaça, the national drink of Brazil, made with traditional techniques by a fifth generation distiller. It is produced from fresh-pressed organic sugarcane juice, and displays generous aromas and flavors of ripe pineapple, fresh sugarcane, and lively vegetal/umami notes. Famous for its starring role in the Caipirinha, this iconic Brazilian spirit is also a great addition to rum based cocktails, or just sipped on the rocks. Certified organic.
