Daniel Brennan, a native of New Jersey, was managing a rock band on tour of Europe and America when he discovered New Zealand wines while docked in Philadelphia. The experience was literally life changing: in 2007 Daniel left Philly for New Zealand in pursuit of his passion to become a winemaker. Decibel is the realization of that dream; producing community-oriented wines utilizing classic winemaking techniques and minimal intervention in the cellar. This sauvignon blanc comes from a single vineyard in Hawke’s Bay, located on the east coast of the North Island. It was fermented in stainless steel tanks using two different yeasts for co-fermentation. Frequent lees stirring was done throughout fermentation, adding a luscious texture and briny tang on the palate. We can’t guarantee this wine will change your life, but we CAN guarantee that it’s darn delicious! A succulent blend of citrus and peach mingles with honeysuckle, fresh herbs, and a clean, mineral-focused finish. Certified sustainable.
