Vineyard/Cellar Practices | Certified Organic, Certified Biodynamic |
The Uco Valley is considered among the best wine regions in Mendoza, thanks to the dramatic diurnal temperature swings the area experiences. The wines of the region are known for complexity, elegance, and drinkability, striking a balance between richness and freshness. This reserve malbec is made from low-yielding estate grown fruit, planted at 4,000 ft in elevation. Vinification techniques are French-inspired, lending an Old World character to this bottling. 85% malbec, 5% merlot, 5% syrah, and 5% cabernet sauvignon, it is aged for 10 months in French oak. Aromas of vanilla bean and baking spice yield to a rich palate of blackberry and plum, supported by lively acidity and a firm tannic backbone. Certified organic, certified biodynamic.
