Domaine Daulny encompasses 15 hectares of sustainably grown grapes just outside of Chaudenay, in the Loire Valley. This cuvée is made from Sauvignon Blanc grown on clay-limestone soils across 20+ different sites throughout the appellation of Sancerre, including a steep plot in “Les Monts Damnés” in Chavignol and a parcel of 70 year old vines in “Les Bois Butteaux” in Verdigny. Grapes are hand harvested and fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, then aged a further 6-10 months, also in stainless. Energized and fresh with an elegant finish. Notes of zesty lime, green apple, white blossom, and a chalky minerality make this a wine you’ll keep reaching for over and over. Sustainably grown.
