Blandine Floch is not daunted. She has established herself in recent years as an independent winemaker, often facing low yields due to unseasonable frosts, all while raising her daughter in the countryside of the Loire Valley. She allows the vineyard ecosystem to take its own course; the resulting wines are unique and thought-provoking. For this grenache, as with all of her wines, Blandine allows the grapes to ferment with indigenous yeasts and age in neutral barrels. Light and bright, this is a fresh take on grenache. Low in tannin and eminently chillable, it wafts violets, red berries, and pomegranate. Organically grown, low-intervention/natural wine.
