MORE ON THIS WINE
Edgar Brutler, founded in 2018, is a small, four-hectare family winery located in Transylvania, Romania. The winery focuses on organic farming of native grape varieties while practicing low-intervention winemaking utilizing indigenous yeasts. This 100% Grünspitz is exceptionally unique, sourced from one of only two known vineyards of this variety in the world. Whole bunch pressed and aged primarily in oak barrels with a small percentage of juice aging in amphora, the wine is unfined, unfiltered, and has no added sulfur. Crisp and lean with a whisper of spritz, this wine features energized, striking acidity with notes of quince danish and crisp apple.
