Bodegas Gutiérrez-Colosía 'Sangre y Trabajadero' Oloroso Sherry NV

Gutiérrez-Colosía is a sherry house that dates back to 1838 and has been owned by the same family for the past century. Located right by the quai at the mouth of the Guadalete River, the bodegas benefit from the salty sea air in the aging of their sherries. This oloroso ages in solera, without flor, for up to nine years. With a whiff of petrol on the nose and a dry attack, it develops notes of candied fig, walnut, and sage on the palate.
