Hand Work is the collective dream of brothers Francisco, Javier, and Luis Parra. Their wines are intended to shine a spotlight on the terroir of their homeland of La Mancha, an arid and chilly plateau in central Spain, just south of Madrid. Hand Work is certified organic as well as vegan, with no sulfur added in the winemaking process. Hand-harvested fruit is fermented with indigenous yeast, sees no new oak influence, and is bottled without fining. As a result, the tempranillo character really shines through, and this wine is juicy, ripe and thirst-quenching, with fresh acidity and some gentle tannin. It’s both interesting and fun, making it a perfect everyday wine - and in a liter bottle, an excellent value as well. Certified organic, vegan.
