This fun-packaged bag-in-box is a delight. It’s a blend of gamay and pinot noir, all of it coming from Domaine Rochebin’s sustainably farmed, limestone & clay vineyards around the Mâcon. It is aged in cement rather than oak to retain freshness and vibrant fruit flavors, and it is fined using only kies, making it vegan. Mickaël Marillier is the third-generation winemaker currently at the helm of the domaine, which has been in operation since 1925. This BiB will last for weeks once it has been opened, keeping that freshness glass after glass. The flavors are true to the grapes, approachable and fruity, but with fine tannin on the finish to keep it dry. Sustainably grown, vegan.
