The Huntsman Cabernet Sauvignon Columbia Valley 2022

Ross Andrew Winery is the project of Alexandra and Ross Andrew Mickel (who cut his winemaking teeth at Betz Family Winery). This cabernet is named "The Huntsman" as Seattle-born Ross loves to hunt... hunting down Columbia Valley's top vineyards and growers for his grapes. Grapes for this cabernet were sourced from some of eastern Washington’s finest vineyards, including Alder Ridge, Ciel du Cheval, and Klipsun, contributing to the wine's balance, power, and structure. This cab has just a touch of petit verdot to darken the color and deepen the flavor, while maintaining the classic character of an American cabernet. Lovely touches of earth, deep black and red fruit flavors on the palate, smooth tannins and a long finish all add up to a darkly delectable drink that's versatile enough for almost any occasion.
