Create an accountMany of the pear trees at the Ferme de l’Yonnière are over 200 years old, and all represent varieties indigenous to Normandy. Jérôme Forget and his team harvest only the ripest fruit, by hand, from the ground. He uses no chemicals in the orchards, which are surrounded by cow pastures, nor does he add sulfites to his ciders at any point in the process. This is pear cider that truly speaks of place, and of craft: focused, dense fruit flavor is matched by a clean and refreshing earthiness. Organically grown.
