Lo-Fi Wines has an ethos we can wholeheartedly get behind. A partnership between two lifelong friends, Mike and Craig, they believe in crafting simple, delicious wines for everyday drinking. Focusing less on collectibility and more on quaffability, these wines are honest, authentic representations of a softer side of California. Lower in abv, without sacrificing power on the palate, each bottle sees neutral barrel, native yeast fermentation, little to no sulfur additions and no adjustment of pH. Young, vivacious, and oh so vibrant, we love the spunky, tongue-in cheek character of each pour. This chenin blanc is hand-harvested, hailing from the Arnold Sand soils (well-draining sands over soft sandstone) of the Jurassic Park Vineyard and is directly pressed and barrel fermented in neutral French oak, aging for an additional 10 months in barrel. Soft and supple but with that signature chenin sharpness of acidity, the first sip is akin to that last sip of cereal milk - slightly toasty, creamy, little spice. Notes of chamomile, earl grey, and subtle banana complement this breakfast juice beautifully. Sustainably grown, low-intervention/natural wine.
