Madre ‘Ensamble’ is made from a blend of two different varieties of agave: the widely known espadin, and the rarer cuishe (a wild agave in the Karwinskii family, known for imparting mineral and spice notes to the mezcal it is made from). The result is a versatile sipper, with subtle sweet smoke accompanied by earthy, mineral notes, and herbal and floral tones lingering on the finish.
