Prost Riesling Feinherb Mosel 2022

A project by wine importer The German Wine Collection, the line of Prost wines is sourced from growers across Germany’s Mosel, Rheinhessen and Pfalz regions, intent on showcasing terroir and presenting a range of textbook riesling styles. This one, from the northerly Mosel region, is made with riesling grown in porous slate soils. It’s designated as ‘Feinherb,’ an unregulated German term for wines that are off-dry (i.e. have just a bit of residual sugar). Aromatic and super refreshing, it offers a mix of lively orchard fruit and tropical flavors charged by bright acidity to balance out its mild sweetness. It’s perfect for pairing tricky-to-match and spicy flavors.
