‘La Neblina’ (‘fog’ in Spanish) is the name of the coastal fogbanks that roll in off the Pacific to blanket the vineyards of western Sonoma County. This cooling effect provides some of the most favorable conditions for growing pinot noir, a benefit enjoyed by the three organically farmed sites that provide the grapes for this delicious cuvée. 2021 was a classic year for the Estate, Dierke, and Alberigi vineyards, and this vintage is a delightful showcase of layers of wild berry, red currant, cherry, and cool misty forest, accented with splashes of spicy herbs and rose petals. Vivacious and textured on the palate, with a versatile medium weight, this is ideal for pairing with a vast array of cuisines, or for aging (if you can wait that long to open it!) Bottled unfined and unfiltered. Organically grown, biodynamically grown, low-intervention/natural wine.
