Vineyard/Cellar Practices | Organically Grown, Biodynamically Grown, Low-Intervention/Natural Wine |
Located about 100 miles north of San Francisco, Anderson Valley wines have been grabbing attention as of late, producing wines of great complexity and elegance. The large swings in daily temperature aid in maintaining freshness and encourage slow ripening, resulting in this wine’s lovely backbone of acidity. After the grapes are pressed as whole clusters, the juice spends 4-6 months on its lees in stainless steel, and then is aged for a year in oak, 20% of which is new French oak, lending great depth and flavor complexity. Medium bodied, savory, and concentrated, this wine boasts flavors of stone and tropical fruits, a hint of florality and a whisper of minerality. Organically grown, biodynamically grown, low-intervention/natural wine.
