To work harvests and gain a diversity of production experiences, winemaker Joe Swick traveled the globe for a solid decade before establishing a wine brand of his own in his native Oregon. Based in the Willamette Valley, he sources grapes from organic, biodynamic and/or sustainably farmed vineyards across the Pacific Northwest to showcase the region's terroir via lively and ultra fresh wines made without additives or excess tinkering in the cellar. The fruit for this wild and wonderful sparkler comes from Oregon's Columbia Gorge AVA and the border-straddling Van Duzer Corridor AVA that stretches into Washington. The pinot gris, riesling, gewürztraminer and niagara were fermented on the skins for 14 days, then blended with direct-pressed pinot noir. Floral and somewhat tropical, it bursts with lychee and fleshy golden apple flavors. Organically grown, sustainably grown, low-intervention/natural wine.
