Located practically in our own backyard, Whitecliff Vineyard in Gardiner, NY produces a highly respected and diverse portfolio of fine wines. Founded in 1979 by husband-and-wife team Michael Migliore and Yancey Stanforth-Migliore, Whitecliff Vineyard has been one of the leading voices in the Hudson Valley for winemaking. Michael has lived on the property since 1975; he studied organic chemistry at SUNY New Paltz and worked for IBM as a chemical engineer; soon after, he began experimenting with grape growing. They now have one of the largest vineyards in the Hudson Valley, with over 20 varietals planted. The Red Trail is a quaffable blend of noiret, dechaunac & merlot playing together to produce a smooth, easy-drinking wine with just a hint of sweetness. Sustainably grown, vegan.
